To be Disciplined or Not to be!

I love riding my moped and I'm a good rider, at least a decent one. Even though i have learned driving a car and got myself license, i usually don't drive it inside city because i lack confidence and wouldn't want to trouble others. But here are few issues i face:

While i ride to work everyday, there is a railway gate on the way. I usually stand behind the vehicles, but most of the bikers, Autos and even cars go on the opposite lane to reach at the front even if a traffic cop standing there shooing them off. I feel pity about this man, who gets no respect and doesn't know how to utilize his power. This place has traffic jam most time of the day, especially more during peak hours or when train passes by. But because of people who do not follow any lane discipline, it not only causes more traffic jam but makes people who are disciplined enough get late to work and get annoyed early mornings.

And what's with people taking left or right or U turns without indicating others? And worst are these bikers who cut edges and overtake. Sometimes Accidents are just no accident but some FOOLS negligent driving. 

Jumping signals because you can reach your destination 2 minutes early? What if someone doesn't reach his destination ever because of your negligent driving. Would you be able to forgive yourself?

People follow rules only until they get license it seems like. Having good moral and good driving skills has its patience. I might just yell or hit someone one of these days. Facing these issues everyday, makes me wonder why should i follow lane discipline when living around such Uncivilized people !

Happy Mother's day!

From changing our diapers to selecting clothes for graduation she plays the major role in our lives. Her sleepless nights start when she expects to giving birth to child, And you were worried about dark circles when you had to be awake at night to take care of her? Her sleepless nights doesn't seem to end as the kids grow up. You have exam, she is awake to make you coffee, you come home late, she is awake to give you dinner. don't she worry about her dark circles?  She loves you unconditionally whether you are pretty/ugly/Studious/dumb/successful/unsuccessful, such love you would find no where else. She guides you, she encourages you but she would never say no to any good things you do. She is the  beautiful MOTHER we all have:)

I don't understand when people crib about not having anyone to love our to be loved, have you searched your house yet?
We will realize the value of someone only when they are gone, but when you don't have her your world seems upside down. Love and Value her while you can. If you could atleast show the amount of love you give to pets or some guy or girl in your life to your mother, she will be more than happy. Don't you think you should make her happy once in a while who made you happy throughout your life?

I cannot babysit my nephew and niece for just one whole day, I wonder how my mom took care of three kids and never complained. She still pampers us as if we are little kids, she doesn't eat until she feeds us. She knows exactly what we need even without asking. I do not know if there exists God. But mom you are my super power, without you I'm just NOTHING! I'm Blessed to have you mom:-)

Losing Faith in Humanity?

Often we come across so many terrifying events in our life, that at one point of time we start losing faith in Humanity. It becomes so hard to trust and believe in another human being(Strangers) due to these events. Here are few such bad moments i experienced:

A man comes in wrong way(One way road) and almost hits me (who is walking).
I yell saying where the hell you going.
He : stops and comes to almost hit me, and asks why did you use slang on me.
Me: (Confused look)Firstly I didn't use slang and second you are on one way.
He: Starts speaking rubbish in his language which is not local language Kannada.
Me: If you cannot follow rules and do not know how to speak with women , you should leave this city. Bangalore is not for you. (Still scared if he would hit me)
People gathered and tried to call him down. And i walked away!

PS : Behave well with women is the least we could ask you. Anyways you wouldn't follow traffic rules!

Often i get cheated with the amount of fuel they put in petrol bunk. If i ask about it, only response is we put Correctly madam. One fine morning, as usual i go to fill fuel:

Me: Tank full boss
Petrol Bunk guy(P guy): Fills the tank and the amount comes to 313
Me : Paying by card
P guy: restarts the machine to pour petrol for others, and says pay 331
Me: It was 313
P guy : No madam, it was 331
Me : Feeling helpless pays what he asks for.

Even if we personally don't experience such bad behavior from others, media does the job by showing all bad things happening around. Even to give lift to someone i get really scared. I do not want to end up being a person who is paranoid and doesn't believe in other humans.

All that we could do as an individual is to respect and behave well with others.

Foreign land... Minneapolis!!

Visit to Foreign land... Minneapolis!!

Have you packed everything! Do you need snacks! Call me once you reach there! Do no go out alone! Do not go to water places! There were no pause for me to say anything; I wondered if my mom was even expecting any response. In spite of all panic around me, i kept my calm and packed things for my 8 day stay in Minneapolis (mnpls). Since it was my first time to travel abroad, I had to check with friends on what goes in cabin bag and what goes in check in, ah! Packing is such a pain. After all the talks and preparations finally i reached airport.

En route we had flight change at Paris, for which we were very excited about. Oh yeah! I was not alone; we were 8 colleagues travelling to same destination. We peeped through plane windows to locate Eiffel tower but sadly we did not find :( We had transit time of 2 hours in Paris, which allowed us to roam around a bit in the airport. Oh man what a beautiful and expensive airport that is, ended up paying 7 euros for two bottles of water, Wonder what was in that water! We reached mnpls at 6 pm CST and was waiting to hit the bed as for a record I hadn't slept in 30 hours straight, wish I could have been awake like this during exams:P 

At the end of the day, you need a good place to crash is what I believe. The accommodation made me happy as the hotel had huge room, cozy bed, two Televisions, fridge and yeah bath tub of course. It was no less than a luxurious home!

Apart from work and lot of dance practice hours, I managed to make some time for sight-seeing. Infrastructure of the city is very well planned; two to three generations can live by just maintaining it.
